On our research we have done a lot of work most of it has to do with the wiki for that I will past a link for you. Ones like family crimnial and just different ones. This place helped a lot with moving an object with your arrow keys Coding Character Movement with the arrow keys. Me and my partner have had a lot of fun working with each other its some of the most fun I've had all year because I can hang out with my friends and learn how to make a game at the same time. here is a video of our paperprototype so that I can show you how much fun we have had working.

What I have learned

On this unit we had animation, navigation, and sound. On the animation unit I added movement with the motion tween. On my about page I have a car going across the screen then when it stops the back button comes up. On the navigation unit I made the buttons that went back and fourth.My play and my about button takes you to the right place and my back button brings you back. I had to trace a car on this unit to and I done a pretty good job. Drunk driving

I really don't like drunk drivers because they might be going down the road drunk and they might be a little kid beside the road and the drunk driver might hit himher. They will alaways reck and hit houses and other things like animals its just sad when you go down the road and see a dead animal beside the road. They are really dangerous when they drive and can hurt thereselves and others because they can't control the vechile. This is what happens when you drink. Most of you can't buy it because you have to be 18 or older to drink. If you have a alcohol limit over 1.05 you are breaking the law.

What We have learned

I have learned a lot about flash you can make the buttons and they actually work. If you want to make the game without all the action it will still work, but you can have action. flash has a lot of interesting tools like the oval tool if you make a button and click on it twice a key frame will come up and if you change the color of the oval then when your mouse clicks on it will turn a different color. One easy part for me was creating the first level because I'm really in to the game. A hard part was putting the code in I might have misspelled something that will not let the back button work. Something that was real challenging was trying to get the button to work. My partner and I have done a lot of research on our questions, and cases. What we have done in flash

We have drew a lot in flash on one I traced a car with the pencil and, the line tool and I done pretty good. My partner has helped me a lot with flash sometimes when I wasn't for sure what to do she would explain it for me. On one of our pages in the future we are going to make we are going to have some awesome designs like cars and, stop signs that have to do a lot with our game. In flash we used a lot of decorative stuff like ovals ,stars, and created buttons. We need a change

West Virginia needs a change in its high gas prices. If you go to the store or somewhere it costs you at least twenty dollars in gas. Not counting how much the groceries will be. Now days you have to have a lot of money to live they need to lower prices or rise checks its just becoming to hard to live any more. They need to do something about the gas prices sooner or later there will not be any more and then we will have to ride horses,bikes,and walk. My oppinion is that we need to start doing something it don't matter just walking to grandmothers house will save a lot of gas or maybe slack back on riding four-wheelers or something will help alot with gas. sooner or later the gas stations are going to look like this picture. It is going to hurt us so bad that you will have more people go hungry and live on the streets. with high prices like this. With on coming hurricanes, tsunamis, and earth quakes we will not have enough money to rebuild houses and everything for all the high prices on everything. Our Progress

We have done a lot of research in globaloria we have looked up cases about people getting sued for something noncriminal like when you are going into a fast food restraunt and you fall and break your leg or somrthing and they didn't have a wet floor sign so if you don't have enough money to pay for it you can sue them and they will have to pay for it if you win the case. Some research that we have found is also some really famous lawyers that have solved some really hard cases and we are going to let the lawyers be some of the characters that you can pick different ones will also be on the deffendents side to so they will be some really hard casesd.

Abby Taylor's Visit

Abby's visit was awesome she gave our team a lot of ideas to help with our paper prototype. She set a great example for us. She showed us that as hard as you work you can always make it to your goal. Rachael, David, and Abby where one of the best visits we have had. She gave us one idea that involved using a lot of different research in our game. Most of the reasearch was about cases from civil law which is noncriminal laws. She told u that she really liked our idea of putting you in the drivers spot when he is getting sued.

About my game

1. How does my game topic relate to civics? My game topic is about civics law without civics law it is hard to have civics because everyone would be breaking the little rules that civil law has to offer. Like if you go into someones house and fall on a banana and break a bone if they don't have enough money to cover it they can sue and get the person that ownes the house to pay the rest of the bill. 2. A player will learn alot more about civics while they play my game it will teach them the way of life that is harsh like when you get sued for someone accidently coming in your house and falling on something this is called civil law. 3. Where does my game topic fit into the Civics Knowledge Framework? It fits into the civics knowledge frame work because it is the civil law, that some people don't even know about. Does my game teach about an ideal of government, a function of government or about citizenship? My game is about citizenship and the function of government. It deals with citizenship by keeping it fair in the community like when you get sued for hitting a car if the person that ownes the car don't have the money to pay for it they can sue you so that you have to pay for it. It stands for function by keeping us in line so that everything doesn't go crazy. About The First Amendment

The first amendment means alot to me it gives you the right to speak up any where in the world when you want to. Like in court you wouldn't be able to speak up so the jury can hear your plea and you never know you might win a case just for being able yo have freedom of speech. I really like the first amendment because it gives you alot of oppertunities. If your principal doesn't let you wear your favorite shirt to school, do you have a right? Yes you do because you have the freedom of speech. If your locker was searched would you have a right to refuse the search. Yes you would because you have the freedom of speech see without the first amendment the world would be alot harder. My Game Idea

My partner and I are starting a new unite it is called imaginning your game. We are trying to make a game that will teach you about civics law. It is going to be super fun with a bunch of educationl questions that will teach you but let you enjoy the game at the same time. You will use the space bar for gas to go forward and the arrow keys to move left or right. It is going to be a great game for kids.

Law Blog

I choose Amy Ridenour's blog because she stands up for the people because they have a right, and that is what laws stand up for our rights laws like robbery or money thef from paying your taxes they might cheat you out of a couple houndred dollars that they can keep for theirself. How I've been doing

Globaloria has been the best for me not a thing has went wrong so far. I really find making objects move fascinating because usually only the big high dollar companies make games but we are kids doing it by our self. The most that we have learned is how to make an object move and we are the only ones in Sandy River Middle School that knows how to do this. We have also learned alot about embed codes that you will need to put a video on your blog or something. We have came a long way since the beginning of the year being able to choose our topic right off the back and learning our genres real easily from playing to learn. I really liked Katrina: Tempest in Crescent City it thought me how tough it was when Katrina happened and what families had lost it realy tought you what you never did see.

The safety and responsiblities that come with the internet

You have responsiblities and safety that come with the internet. Your safety is important to us because the internet can hurt you in many ways like your feelings, and thoughts about yourself. They are also able to black mail you and threat you. Then it is important for you to tell someone so that they canput it to a stop. We are making the internet very dangerous for our childern they are bad pictures and words on it that is really bad so we always need to keep a watch on the computar. The internet is really dangerous because we make it that way by putting bad videos and stuff on there. We have almost lost our rights on the computar be cause of what we do so we need to stop.

our rights that come with responsiblities

We have our rights and we have to be responsible to keep them like being good and not going out and destroying our community. We do have the rights to speak out loud or for what we believe in like our religion some of us have different religions like Judism, and Christian. They both are totally different but we are still aloud to believe in what we want because we have keep our responsibilities. If the responsibilities are not followed then you lose the right that you gained and will never get it back. When we dress we have the right to wear what we want how we want to wear it but if we start disobeying the rules we loose that right and never get to wear what you want to again. that is our responsibilities of our rights.
