Back to School

I would like to get deeper in to flash and learn more about the codes. I expect for this year to be a little bit easier on us because we know more about flash. For a math problem we where thinking about using decimal fractions. Hopefully we do good this year to. Its going to be hard to get back in the grove. Ready for the new year!

The End

Well it is time to go to the eighth grade. It was hard coding in flash, but we always had help from Mrs.Barker if we needed it. Our presentation went good the only comment that they had was to fix one question. Other than that our presentation went really well. One of the biggest problems we had was the hit test on the car. One of the easiest for us was the buttons. We also learned a lot about civics, and technology in the class. Well see you next year.

Almost The End

It was a little hard organizing our team page. First we had to go through sure all of the stuff and make sure it was under the right title and see what swf file goes where. Then after that we had to straighten it up and make it look good. About our game, we have left some stuff out not because we wanted to, but because we just forgot about it with all the other opinions that we got. We also put some different stuff in the game like the brick wall. When it comes to files saved on a jump drive I would say that we have a lot. Also on our game, and in flash everyone else and I have learned a lot about flash coding, civics, and working together. What We Wanted

I was really wanting to put a digital timer in our game, but it would just not work. Even my teacher tried to help me and she could not figure out what was wrong. We really didn't decide what to code or scrap we kinda just went along with it and if we liked the way it turned out we kept it. I would probably keep what we have done in our game, because I like what we have. One blog that I really liked was Ethan's blog from Greenbriar East High School. I really liked his because it showed a lot of detail about public speaking. What we Teach

One of the most hardest things to teach in our game was our amendment. which is the seventh amendment. It stands for the right to a fair trial by a jury. The way we tought this in our game was through civic questions, and when you get to the court house they will teach about it in the case. All the way through the game you will have hints everywhwhere that helps you with the case, and civics. At times it was just so frustrating.

How I Feel

Lets use the health bill for an example. One person says its good to have another says that it is bad, the best way to find out about it would be to ask around and get information from people and the Internet. After that you use the knowledge that you have found and figure out which topic has the best ideas and persuade you the most. Don't forget what you think is best before you get other information.
